Mildred L. Shuford, 90, of Sorrento. Survivors include two daughters, Paula 
Grant of Sorrento and Milly Cooper of Sugar Land, Texas; a very special friend, 
Cecilia Jacob of Dona Vista; brother, Raymond Hignight of Deport, Texas; six 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She was a retired school teacher in the Texas school system and a member of 
Central Baptist church, Port Neches, Texas.

Memorial services held at the Grand Island Baptist church, with the Rev. David 
Williams officiating.
