Bernon Smith, 86, of Umatilla died of kidney and heart failure. Survivors 
include his wife, Margaret P.; sons, Vernon Lee Smith of Umatilla, John Edgar 
of Fairfax,  S.C., Richard l. Sr. of Dawsonville, Ga., and Michael a. of 
Crossville, Tenn.; daughters, Shirley Rabon of Eustis, Catherine A. Owens of 
Umatilla, and Phoebe S. Bradshaw of Howey; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren.



Additional Comments:
He was a retired welder, builder, and a Baptist. 

Funeral service held at the funeral home, Umatilla with the Rev. David Rawls 
officiating. 

Interment at Ponceannah Cemetery.
