Alice Ruth Strite, 93, of Mount Dora. Survivors include her daughter, Sally R. 
Holder of Sorrento; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She was a retired teacher who taught in Mount Dora for 17 years.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora and the Mount 
Dora Parents and Teachers Organization.

Alice Ruth graduated from Peabody College in Nashville Tenn., and Lynchburg 
College in Lynchburg, Va. and had a degree in library sciences.

She was awarded a lifetime teacher's certificate.
