Louis Samuel Sutfin, 76, of Tavares. Survivors include his wife, La Verna M, of 
Tavares and St. John, Mich.; daughters, Edna Upton of Perrinton, Mich., Carol 
Sutfin of St. John, Mich., and Cheryl Coleman of Killeen, Texas; sons, Laverne 
Sutfin of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and John Sutfin of Laingsburg, Mich.; sisters, 
Helen Parke of Green Cove Springs; brothers, Cecil Sutfin of Challote, Mich., 
and Orrin Sutfin of Eureka, Mich.; five grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was an assembler in an automobile factory in Michigan and a Protestant.



He was also a member of Local 1618 United Auto Workers Union, Lansing, Mich., 
and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
