Eugene Carlton Werst, 81, of Leesburg. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea 
Sweeney; son, Bob Werst of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Linda Bassler of Boise, 
Idaho and Karen Madsen of Grand Junction, Colo.; sister, Georgia Midgley of Mt 
Sterling, Ohio and four grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired grocer.

A Celebration of Life service held at Lake Square Presbyterian Church with the 
Rev. Terry Robertson officiating. 

Interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
