Wolf, 89, of Tavares. passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. He was born in Parsons, WV, on Dec 8, 1920, son of Junior and Ethel Wolf. He moved to Tavares in 1987 after retiring from International Harvest Company, Shadyside, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda; daughter, Melinda (Kenneth) Sweeley of Eustis; grandchilddren, Daniel Sweeley of Eustis and Whitney (Charles) Godwin of Umatilla; great-grandson,Abel; one nephew and one niece. Additional Comments: He was preceded in death by one brother, Capt. Phillip G. Wolf. Mr. Wolf was a member of the Mosonic Lodge in Wheeling, WV.He was a WWII B\vetern of the Burma-China-India campaign, satationed n China. He flew with the Flying Tigers under Gen. Charles Chennault. Bob served with 35th Bomb Squadron 308th Bomb Group 14th Air Force, flying over The Hump. A memorial service to be announced at a later time.
