Alvin Wood, 62, of Groveland. Survivors include his wife, Pat; four sons, 
Dwight of Clermont. Mark of Gainesville, Ga., and Tracy Medors and Howard Lee 
Medors both of Sumter County; four daughters, Denise Wood and Karen parks both 
of Gainesville, Ga., Michelle Crose of Ripley, Miss., and Pamela Peterson of 
Leesburg; one brother, Thomas Wood of Athens, Ga.; five sisters, Frances Hill 
and Deana Bolton both of Atlanta, Edna Brown and Judy Prichett both of 
Commerce, Ga., and Betty Taylor of Douglas Ga.; and 14 grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a mechanic.
