Application for Letters Testementary IN COURT OF THE COUNTY JUDGE, STATE OF FLORIDA Estate of James J. McEwen } Lake County deceased } To the Honorable E. M. Tally, Judge of Said Court: The petition of Charles McEwen respectfully showeth that he is a resident of Lake County, State of Florida; that on the 8th day of May A.D. 1924 James J. McEwen of Paisley in said Lake County, departed life at DeLand, Florida, leaving a last will and testament duly signed and attested, as your petitioner believes, which he now presents to your Honor for probate; that said testator in said will nominated your petitioner Charles McEwen executor thereof; that said deceased left property and effects as follows: Real Estate and Personal Property situate and being in Lake County, Florida. That said deceased left him surviving Charles McEwen, Robert G. McEwen, Mrs. Mary Royal, Mrs. Sarah L. Gardiner, Mrs. Mabel I. Edmiston, Miss Grace McEwen, his children, his only heirs at law; that your petitioner resides at Orlando, Florida and is willing to accept and undertake the trust confided to him in said will. Wherefore your petitioner prays that the said will may be admitted to probate, and Letters Testamentary thereon may be issued to him after proper hearing and proof, and that all other orders necessary may be made.
