 Hiram Ballard, age 90, of LaBelle, FL passed away December 21, 2011 in 
LaBelle. He was born December 17, 1921 in Muse, the son of the late Fait and 
the late Zora (Browning) Ballard. Hiram was a lifelong resident of LaBelle. He 
was a member of Church of God-LaBelle and taught Sunday school for fifty 
years. He served in the Army.
 Survivors include his wife,his children, two daughters and a son and their 
families, a brother, three sisters, several grandchildren,nine great-
grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
 The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 24, 2011 10:00 a.m at 
Church of God. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery. Visitation will 
be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle.
