 Kurt Lee Bowman, 60 of Cape Coral, FL lost his battle to Alzheimer's disease 
on Monday, November 14, 2011.
 Kurt was born to George (Buck) and Sadie Bowman on December 6, 1950 in 
Valparaiso, Indiana.
 Kurt Lee was a pioneer in the special needs community having been one of the 
original six students at the Vale Day School started by Lori Woycik. The Vale 
School later became Opportunity Enterprises in Valparaiso, Indiana, where Kurt 
worked. Kurt retired from Opportunity Enterprises in 2004 and moved to Florida 
with his brother.
 Kurt is survived by two brothers,sister,and sister-in-law.
 Two celeberations of Kurt's life will be held. One on Tuesday, November 22 at 
Hope Hospice House Chapel, Cape Coral. Visitation will start at 6:00 PM with 
the service at 7:00 PM. The second in Valparaiso, IN on December 6, 2011 at 
Moeller Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with the service at 
2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery.
