 William D.Brewer (Bill), 78, of Fort Myers, FL died Saturday May 5, 2012 at 
the University of Miami Medical Center, Miami, Florida.
 Bill was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 28, 1933 to William Lloyd Brewer and 
Clara Bailes Brewer. He attended Will Rogers High School and recieved a BA in 
Business Management from the Univerisity of Oklahoma. Following college he 
joined the United States Air Force and served seven years as a pilot in 
several inflight refueling squadrons, where he flew KC-97's in the Strategic 
Air Command. After the Air Force Bill began a 32 year career as a commerical 
Airline Pilot. He retired from the Northwest Airlines as a DC-9 Captain in 
1991.
 Following his retirement Bill and his wife, enjoyed traveling between home in 
Fort Myers and Incline Village, Nevada.
 Bill is survived by hs wife of 28 years, a daughter, son and their families, 
his first wife and several grandchildren.
 Memorial services in Fort Myers and in California are being planned. 
Cremation is being arranged by Harvey Engelhardt Funeral Home.
