 Donald August Carstensen, 88, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on January 14, 
2012.
 Donald was born in Iowa on December 17, 1923. He married and raised a family 
in DeWitt, Iowa where he was a farmer until he moved to Ft. Myers, FL in 1965. 
Donald worked for Lee County as a heavy equipment operator retiring in 1988. 
Donald loved to travel the U.S with his loving wife, Dorothy Carstensen until 
she preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 2002. 
 Donald is survived by two daughters, a son and their families, 8 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
