Dolan of Pearl River, N.Y and formerly of North Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 30, 2012. He was born on June 6, 1933 to Thomas J. and Elizabeth Dolan in Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, brother , five sons and a daughter and their families, and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Dailey. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Koren War. Bob retired as a Photo Engraver from Union Camp in Englewood, NY in 1996. During his retirement Bob was instrumental in raising funds to build St. Theresa RC Church in North Fort Myers, FL. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course with friends and family, telling jokes and showing that "Pop Pop" can fic anything. Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church, Pearl River, NY. Private cremation will follow.
