 David Downey died on December 16, 2011 in Fort Myers, FL where he resided. A 
native of Simpson County, Kentucky, he was 64.
 He is survived by his wife of 23 years, a daughter and her family, twin 
grandchildren, a son and his family, his father, sister, two brothers and 
several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death in 2010 by his mother, 
Betty Downey.
