 Ellen L.Gala, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 
Health Park Care Center with her children at her bedside. Ellen was born on 
October 19, 1930, in Watseka, Illinois but lived in Fort Myers, FL since 1959. 
Ellen was predeceased in October, 2008 by her husband of 60 years, George W. 
Gala, Sr. Surviving Ellen are her six daughters and two sons and their 
families, also 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and two sisters. 
 A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church  of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 
Fort Myers on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 9:30 a.. Immediately after the 
service there will be a celebration of Ellen's life at "the Ranch" ( her home 
in Briarcliff). All family and friends are invited for the "GALA" occasion. 
Ellen's wish was to be cremated so her ashed will be with us.
