 Henry Martin Garner, 93, of Lehigh Acres, FL formerly of New York City died 
peacefully on December 26, 2011.
 He was born on December 7, 1918 in Barbados. He immigrated to New York City 
in 1953. He was a veteran of the Royal Air Force. He was the Past Master of 
Prince Hall Masonic Lodge. He was a founding member and Past President of the 
Carribean-American Social Club of Lehigh Acres. He was a Master Gardener with 
the University of Florida agricultural extension program.
 He was predeceased by his parents Robert & Martha Garner, 3 brothers and 3 
sisters. Surviving are his wife of 70 years , his children, 4 daughters and a 
son, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 10- 11 
a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, Lehigh Acres. Funeral service will 
follow at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
