 Wallace Laverne Griffiths, age 83, of Fort Myers, FL died Saturday, March 10, 
2012 at Health Park Care Center of Ft Myers. Wallace was born May 14, 1928 in 
Carbondale, PA, He is the son of the late Stanley and the late Wilama (Hedden) 
Griffiths.
 He served in the United States Merchant Marines from 1944-1950 and then 
served in the Unites States Army from 1951-1953. He was employed as a 
telephone repairman for several years with New Jersey Bell Telephone CO.
 He is survived by his wife, three sons and their families, sister, and four 
grandchildren.
 The memorial mass will be held 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, at Saint 
Vincent De Paul Catholic Church , Ft. Myers, Internment will take place at 
Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
