 Following a short illness, Norma Gurney passed away peacefully with family 
and friends by her side in Cape Coral, FL. Norma was born to Antonio and 
Mercedes Suazo on Dec. 30, 1941 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.
 She leaves behind her husband, a daughter and son-in-law, two grandsons, two 
sisters and a brother.
 She served many years volunteering as a Physician's Assistant for Lee 
Memorial Health System. She will be remembered previously for her service as a 
School Crossing Guard at Bolaso Pkwy and Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral. 
 Her final resting place will be at the Suazo family plot in Puerto Rico.
