Myers, FL on December 12, 2011. Gigi's final resting place is Highland Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana. Gigi was born on November 26, 1929 to the late James and Gladys (Morris) Ellis in South Bend, Indiana. She is survived by her loving husband, and three daughters and their families, elevan grandchildren, eighteen greatgrandchildren, and several sisters, brother-in-laws,sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Gigi graduated in 1948 from Central High School in South Bend, Indiana.Gigi is a gounding member of the Patty Berg Fiddlesticks Golf Classic and a member of the Patty Berg Board, where she worked tirelessly for the American Cancer Society. Gigi lost her oldest sister, Marjorie Scott, to cancer. Gigi was preceded in death by two of her children, daughter, Mary Frances Hagerty in June 2011 and son Patrick Michael Hagerty in May 2011. She is also preceded in death by sisters, Marjorie Scott, Mary Nye and brother James Ellis Jr. In remembrance and celebration of Gigi's life, there will be a memorial in the spring of 2012 at The Church of the Resurrection in Ft. Myers, FL where Gigi was a long-time parishioner.
