 Joseph Michael Hannon Sr., 89, of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully on 
Thursday, May 31, 2012. 
 He served in the U.S Army and retired from the NYPD in 1975. He is 
predeceased by his son Jerr (1985) and brother Mickey (2010).
 He is survived by his wife of 69 years, four sons and three daughters and 
their families, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great 
grandchild, brother and sister.
 Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, Ft. 
Myers on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A mass of Christian burial 
will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral on tuesday, June 5, 2012 
at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
