 Charles D. Hendry Sr. passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice on Tuesday, June 
5, 2012. He was 81, and a resident of North Fort Myers, FL. He was born on 
April 20, 1031. He was predeceased by his son, Dennis L. Hendry. He is 
survived by his loving wife of 61 years, a son and daughter and their 
families, four grandchildren, and two brothers.
 He was the son of  Fred Earl Hendry and Bertha Greetice Gould Hendry. Charles 
graduated from Fort Myers High School, Class of 1949 and attended Florida 
Southern College in Lakeland, FL. Charles spent his business career in the 
tire and automotive industry. 
 A private interment took place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Fort Myers 
Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Charles' Life will be held on July 7, 2012 
at 3 PM at The Guiding Light Community Church, North Fort Myers,FL.
