 Vincent Jerome Honc, 83, of Bokeelia passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.
 He was born eldest son Oct. 8, 1928 to Ludmila (Sushil) and Vincent Joseph on 
the family homestead in Bokeelia, FL where he spent his childhood with his 8 
siblings.Vincent was drafted in 1950 into the Army and served  honorably in 
the Infantry as a mortar instructor during the Korean War and later enlisted 
into the Army Reserve .He and his father and brother formed the Honc's Nusery 
in Bokeelia. He also served as a Fire Commissioner for the Pine Island Fire 
Department and was a Director and Officer in the Lee County Conservation 
Associaton.
 Vince is survived by his two sister, and dear brother. He is preceded in 
death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Lois.
 A visitation will be held between the hours of 6-8 p.m on Monday, Feb. 20, 
2012 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL. A funeral mass 
will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal 
Catholic Church, Bokeelia followed by military honors and Christian Burial at 
Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery.
