Kayla Marie James, 17, of Cape Coral, FL was welcomed into heaven with open 
arms on Thursday, March 29, 2012.
 She was born in Cape Coral, FL in 1994.Kayla attended North Fort Myers High 
School. She had a passion for drag racing and was the 2012 and 2011 JHRA 
Junior Dragster Champion. 
 She is survived by her parents, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, 
three aunts and uncles, step-mothers and stepsister. 
 Funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Fuller 
Metz Funeral Home in Cape Coral. The family will receive friends for viewing 
on Wednesday between the hours of 5-7 PM. Memorial contributions to the 
National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
