At the urging of a fellow service man, Jack moved to Florida in search of work following his service in the U.S Navy during W.W. II. While working as an ironworker in Miami, Jack met and married Audrey, his wife of 56 years. In the fall of 1961 Jack moved his family to Immokalee, FL where he would become a local legend in the farming community. Jack was preceded in death by all of his siblings, his wife Audrey and his long time friend, employer and business partner Johnny.He is survived by one son and his wife and one granddaugheter, a grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday afternnon November 12 at 2:00 p.m at the First Baptist Church in Immokalee.
