 On November 7, 2011 Charlotte N.S. Kellam passed on th her heavenly reward at 
Cypress Cove, FL. She resided at Cypress Cove with her husband for eight 
years. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived her early life on a farm 
owned by her father until her marriage in 1946.
 She graduated from Somerville, NJ High School, attended Rider College and 
pursued other college courses at Rutgers University. 
 In 1953, Charlotte was appointed Township Clerk of Branchburg, Township, NJ 
and thereafter elected twice as required by state laws. She served as 
Municipal Clerk for nearly thirty years and was Chief Financial Officer for 
twenty years. She also acted as Clerk of the Board to the Planning Board,Board 
of Adjustment, Industrial Commission, Board of Health, was Deputy Municipal 
Court Clerk and was a member of the Local Assistance Board. She retired in 
1981 and she and her husband moved to Florida in 1990.
 Charlotte was the daughter of Garry B. Staats Sr. and Blanche W.W. Staats, 
deceased, and sister of Garry B. Staats Jr. deceased. She married her husband 
in 1946. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, a daughter, grandson and 
three great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
 At Charlotte's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. 
Interment willl be at Neshanic, NJ following cremation.
