 Carl E. Latta, 97, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012. 
He was born on October 14, 1914 in Fairmont, West Virginia to James and Cora 
Bennett Latta. Mr. Latta moved to Cape Coral in 1986 from Huntington, WV. He 
was a member of Huntington Masonic Lodge No. 53.
 He is survived by his daughter and her family, three grandchildren and three 
great-grandchldren, and two brothers. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, 
Eileen Virginia Latta May 7, 2009 and his granddaughter, Anita Eileen Antonio.
 Visitation will be from 10 a.m until the funeral service on Monday, April 16 
at 12 Noon at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral. Entombment with a Masonic 
service will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. The family suggests donations be 
made to the American Cancer Society.
