 Palmer Oscar Lentz, 97, of Cape Coral, FL died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, He 
was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Alberta. He was born in 
Treichlers, PA on October 27, 1914, the son of Oscar W. and Sarah C. (Deibert) 
Lentz. Palmer retired from Avatar Properties, formerly Gulf American Corp. as 
an accountant in the construction division. Prior to moving to Cape Coral in 
1966,  he was employed by Lehighton Auto Sales and along with his wife, owned 
and operated a restaurant in Slatington, PA. Palmer was a veteran of WWII 
having proudly served with the U.S Army's 239th General Hospital in the 
European Theater of Operations, achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant. 
 He is survived by his four children and their families,eight grandchildren, 
nine great-grandchildren and five great-greatgrandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held in Northampton, PA Wednesday,March 28, 2012 at 
the Schisler Funeral Home. Calling hours are from 10:00 Am- 11L00 AM. The 
funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM followed by internment at Indianland 
Cemetery.
