Joe was a Schindler's List Holicaust Survivor. 42 of his relatives were killed in the Holocaust. He arrived in the U.S in 1949 with his wife Anne, and infant an other family members. Joe became an American citizen August 1955. Following college, he gan his electrical engineering career, retired as Vice President from Shaevitz Engineering in 1980. Joe held several patents, including one for the U.S space shuttle system. Joe remarried in 1968. He is survived by his loving wife, three daughters, two sons and their families, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held by his family in Pennsauken,m NJ. he was 93 years old. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 11:00 AM at Barrington Terrace, Ft. Myers.
