He was born on March 12, 1928 in Evanston, IL to Henry and Catharine Losch. Richard was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War serving as a Sergeant First Class with the U.S Army 7th Infantry Division. He retired after 20 years, as a police officer frm the Elk Grove Police Department. He was a past Commander and Chaplain for V.F. W Post 8463, Cape Coral. He was an avid winemaker. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, six children and their families, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m on Monday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral. Funeral Services willbe at 10 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Military Honors will be proveded at the graveside.
