 Michael Andrew Maurer, 59, passed away on December 7, 2011 at 2:45 p.m. in 
Fort Myers, FL. He died from a head injury when he fell from a truck while 
working.
 Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Sanker; father, Andrew Maurer 
Jr. and his wife, Betty Kridle Maurer.
 Michael was born on January 17, 1952 in Clevelan, Ohio. He is survived by his 
sister, a brother, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a 
brother-in-law and mother-in-law.
 Mike was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed cheering for the Cleveland Browns, 
fishing or shooting pool.
 Mike served in the U.S Army for four years. He was a heavy equiptment 
mechanic for 30 years, most recently working for Briggs Machinery. 
 A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 7:pp pm in 
the Chapel of Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home, Fort Myers.
