 Joseph Earl McGill, born July 23, 1943 in Fort Myers, FL passed to a new life 
on November 23, 2011 at Shands Hospital University of Florida. He graduated 
from Fort Myers High School with the class of 1961. After graduation, he went 
to work Florida Department of Transportation in the construction division. He 
was active in the ministry of Riverside Baptist Church and later at Crossraods 
Baptist Church. Joe love hunting in the Big Cyprss Preserve and spending the 
summers in the Great Smokey Mountains.
 He is survived by his wife of 49 years, a daughter, son and their families, 
two granddaughters, two grandsons, a brother, and three sisters and many 
nieces and nephews. 
 A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm December 3, 2011 at Crossroads 
Baptist Church. Please make donations to Lung Transplant Progra,, Shands at 
UF, Gainsville, FL.
