 John "Jack" L. Meurer Jr passed away on January 19, 2012. He was born in 
Massachusetts on October 2, 1933. Jack retired to Fort Myers, FL in 1986. He 
served in the U.S Navy as a Chief for the Seabees, and in the Navy Reserves. 
Jack volunteered for 15 years at Lee Memorial Health Park Hospital. 
 Jack is survived by his lifelong parter, his sister, cousin, and two daughers 
and son and their families, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
 A memorial service will be held at St. Columbkille Church, Ft. Myers, FL on 
Monday, January 30th at 11:00 a. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent 
to Hope Hospice or the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL.
