 Little Joe, 73, "Hairstylist to the Stars",  was taken from us on November 
26, 2011. Born July 1, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Paul and Patricia 
Micale., he attended Ohio University on a wrestling scholarship having earned 
state titles in the posrt while in high school.
 His father moved to Hollywood to pursue an acting career and Little Joe and 
the rest of the family followed. Hoping to write screenplays, Little Joe took 
temporary employment at Cosmo's Hair Salon . Little Joe earned his title of 
Hairstylist to the Stars with many hollywood famous clients. He did write 
screenplays and scripts for television, including some for Hollywood Squares.
 Writing continued to be a passion while he pursued a sucessful hairstyling 
career.
 In 1999 Little Joe and his wife moved to southwest Florida, opening Beverly 
Hills Hair Design on Sanibel Island. His love of writing led him to write a 
column for the Islander, a weekly newspaper on the island. Eventually, Little 
Joe collected his columns into a book, Confessions of a Hollywood Hairstylist 
which he published in 2010.
 Little Joe is survived by his wife, inspiration and business partner, and by 
two daughters from a previous marriage, and his several grandchildren.
 A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 
First Assembly of God Church, Fort Myers.
