 Dewey Mockler 67, of Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully after a brief 
illness on November 17, 2011.
 Dewey was born in Caribou, Maine where he spent his early years. He was the 
son of Roland Mockler and Virginia Rhoda Mockler. Dewy attended Edison Junior 
College and was a member of one of the first graduating classes at Edison. He 
completed his undergraduate studies at the Florida State University and 
received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Florida.
 After law school, Dewey came to Fort Myers to begin his practice of law.
 During the Viet Nam Era Dewey was a member of the Air Force stationed in the 
Aleutian Island. 
 He is survived by his loving wife, his children, step-children, sister, 
brothers and several nieces and nephews.
 A celebraton of Dewey's Life will be held at Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home 
on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11 am. The family will have visitation with 
guests and friends beginning the hour prior. His family will gather during the 
holidays at Branch Lake in Maine to scatter his ashes at his beloved cabin.
