 Helen Flaherty Murray, 93, a Fort Myers FL resident for 61 years, died 
January 14, 2012. She was born January on November 19, 1918 in Manhattan, NY 
to the late Marguerite Schultz and Robert William Seaton.
 Helen grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She spent her high school years in Point 
Pleasant NJ where she graduated from high school. She returned to New York 
City area to start her work at Time Life Inc.
 She married Edward Patrick Flaherty in 1948 and moved to Fort Myers, FL in 
1951. After Ed died in 1972, she and Marge Doyle ran the Bill Doyle Insurance 
CO. until it was sold. She then met and married Richard Eugene Murray and was 
married 1986 until his death in 2002.
 She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Vincent Seaton of Syracuse, NY 
and William Seaton of Red Bank, NJ. She is survived by eight nieces and 
nephews and a step-daughter and her family.
 A memorial mass will be held at The Church of the Resurrection, Ft. Myers at 
noon on Friday, April 13, 2012. Burial will be immediately following at Fort 
Myers Memorial Gardens, Ft, Myers.
