Nichols,Sr. age 86, died at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, Bonita Springs, FL on January 10, 2012. Born September 5, 1925 to Harry and Virginia Nichols.He attended Fort Lee High School and served his country during W.W. II as a civilian driver due to the loss of a limb as a young boy. He started his own trucking venture, was a heavy equipment operator and then worked as a Terminal Manager for Akers Motor Lines and later went on to manage Pure Oil Truck Stops in PA. He owned the Fish Tale Marina in Fort Myers, FL and was one of the founders of the Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association. Harry is survived by his wife of 66 years, two sons and two daughters and their families, a sister and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The service will be held at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Estero, FL on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
