  Ione Louise Linn Nielsen, 86, of Cape Coral, FL departed this life to her 
heavenly home on March 28, 2012. Ione was born October 10, 1925 in Cedar 
County Iowa to Earl and Clara Linn. She graduated from Iowa State Teachers 
College in Cedar Falls, Iowa where she met her husband of 56 years. Ione and 
her husband moved to Cape Coral in 1982. She and her husband volunteered at 
the Kiwanis Thrift Store, attended and taught Bibe study at  Cape Coral First 
United Methodist Church and enjoyed membership in the Cape Coral Sportsman 
Club.
 Ione was preceded in death by her husband in 2004, and son, Rollin. 
 She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son and thier 
families,sisters-in-law, and several grandchildren. A memorial service will be 
held on Saturday, March 31 at 11:00 am at Cape Coral First Methodist Church.
