 Ruth (O'Berry) Garcia passed peacefully from this life on Monday, January 30, 
2012 at the age of 85. A third-generation Florida native, she was born in 
Tampa, Florida on August 28, 1926.
 She is survived by a sister daughter and her family, a grandson and numerous 
nieces, nephews and cousins.
 She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Carcia, sister, Mary 
Frances O'Berry Manucy; and sister-cousin, Elizabeth Hamler Ward.
 She attended the university of Tampa and in 1965 she retired from Fidelity 
Federal Savings and Loan of Tampa where she was Executive Vice President. She 
moved to Lee County in 1968 working with her husband in their construction 
company, Garcia Construction unitl his death in 1982. She lived the last four 
years of her life in Cape Coral , FL.
 A memorial service will be held at noon on February 25, 2012 at VFW Post 
#10127,North Fort Myers, FL
