 Wayne David Oder, son of the late Euhel and Hazel Oder, was born in Flat 
River, Missouri, on October 3, 1944. After graduating from Flat River High 
School in 1962, he attended college at Linn Technical Institute, in Linn, 
Missouri. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Army. On November 30, 1968 , 
he married Kyllene Nan McClintock of Farmington, Missouri. During his time in 
the military, Wayne and Kyllene lived in Missouri, California and Ohio. After 
Wayne completed his military service, the couple moved to Peoria, Illinois 
where they raised a family. Wayne enjoyed a distinguished 30 year career as an 
engineer at Caterpillar, Inc. before retiring to Cape Coral, FL in 2002. Wayne 
was preceded in death by his wife, Kyllene, He is survived by two sons and 
their families, two grandson, a brother, and sister.
 A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held on Monday, December 12 between 4-6 
pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers, donations can 
be made to the American Cancer Society or Hope Hospice.
