Lt. Col. James Edward Orth, Ret., 82, of Lady Lake. Survivors include his wife, 
W. Catherine; daughter, Sharon Talbot of Gahanna, Ohio; sons, Paul James of 
Chattanooga, Tenn.; Jeffery E. of San Francisco and Pete A. of Dallas; 
stepdaughter, Betty Ann Jamieson of Vidalia, Ga.; stepsons, Andrew Daniels, Jr. 
of Hawkinsville, Ga., and Danny Ray Daniels of Woodruff, S. C.; sister, Mildred 
McCall of Butler<  Pa., Phyllis Sparks of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Dora May 
Huffman of Portsmouth, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired Lt. Col. of the U.S. Air Force and a member of First Baptist 
Church in Panama City Beach and attended Northside Christian Church in 
Fruitland Park.



He belonged to numerous clubs and Associations and  received numerous medals 
and ribbons, all too numerous to mention.



Memorial services held at the funeral home, Chapel with Minister Ed Kelly 
officiating. Interment at the Florida Cemetery with full military honors 
conducted by McDill Air Force Bade Honor Guard.
