 Louis E. Persons, 79, a native of Fort Myers, FL died of pancreatic cancer. 
He was the son of Tina and Charles Persons, long time Fort Myers merchants. He 
is survived by his wife of 53 years, three sons and their families and two 
grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Mark Persons.
 Dr. Persons was a graduate of Fort Myers High School, clas of 1951. He 
received premedical education at the Universityof Florida and his doctorate of 
Optometry at the southern College of Optometery in Memphis. He was an 
Optometry officer in the U.S Air Force Reserve. 
 The family will recieve friends at the Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home, Ft. 
Myers on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 3-4 p.m. A Celebration of Dr. Person's 
life will begin at 4 p.m.
