Stewart Newell Pool of Bonita Springs, FL and Willsboro, NY died peacefully on 
October 9, 2011 at the age of 83.
 Mr. Pool was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 17, 1928 and lived in the 
area for most of his life until his retirement to Florida in 1998.
 He attended Shady Side Academy and graduated from the University of 
Pittsburgh in 1954 after serving 2 years in the United States Air Force. His 
working career spanned 36 years with Us Steel Corp.
 He was married to his wife in 1952 in Wilmington, Delaware. He is survived by 
his wife of 60 years, a daughter, and two sons and their spouses and four 
grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and two brothers.
 A memorial service was held on October 11, 2011 at St. Peter's Episcopal 
Church, Arlington, VA. There will be a memorial service in the summer of 2012 
in Willsboro, NY.
