 Dorothy Ann Ratz, a Lehigh Acres, FL resident for 34 years, died January 5, 
2012. She was 73.
 Dorothy who was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 25, 1938. She is survived 
by her seven children, six sons and a daughter and their families, sister, 
sister-in-law and nineteen grandchildren.
 Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Pierpont, 
brother William Pierpont Jr., son Gregory Ratz and granddaughters Aleisa Ratz, 
Savannah Ratz and Faith Ratz.
 Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hodges-Farley Funeral Home. Visitation 
will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A mass will be 
celebrated at the Blessed Pope John XXIII Church, Ft. Myers, FL on Tuesday, at 
11 a.m.
