 Daniel (Dan) Roberts, 83, died May 3, 2012 in Fort Myers, FL. He was a native 
of Fort Myers, born on August 20, 1928 to the late C.L. Roberts and Edna Cox 
Roberts.
 Dan graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1946. He worked at Roberts and Son 
Furniture Store in Tice with his father and later brother, Garland . Upon 
selling the store he worked at J.C. Penny until he retired.
 In February , 1960 he married Dorothy Earlene Williams who preceded him in 
death on February 1, 2003. Dan's passion was hunting and fishing.
 He is survived by a son and daughter and their families, four grandchildren, 
six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in 
death by his wife and one grandson,Lee Roberts.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Anderson-
Patterson Cremation & Funeral Services Chapel, Lehigh Acres, FL. Memorial 
Services begin at 3 pm with inurnment following at Lee Memorial Park. In lieu 
of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
