 Ted H. Schmidt, 72, of Cape Coral, FL fied of complications from cancer 
Monday, March 19, 2012. Born in Rochester, NY, Ted graduated with a Masters 
Degree in Education from the State University of New York. Ted taught from 
elementary all the way thru college and in the State Prison System. He was the 
Past Commander for the Fort Myers Power Squadron.
 Ted married his wife on December 20, 1975 in LeRoy, NY. Ted is survived by 
his wife, a son and two daughters and their families and four grandchildren.
 He was predeceased by his father and mother, Frederick and Marilyn Schmidt.
 A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm at the Church of the Epiphany, Cape 
Coral. Reception will immediately follow at the church. Arrangements are by 
Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral.Donations may be made to the American 
Cancer Society.
