 On December, 31, 2011, Anton F. Schmitz, beloved father, passed peacefully at 
Cape Coral Hospital, Cape Coral, FL. He was 98. Anton was a retired Dutch 
naval officer who brought his family to the U.S in 1956 to start a new life. 
His career in America ran the gamut from truck driver to Asst. Dir. of 
Personnel at Princeton University and finally Dir. of Personnel of Middlesex 
Co. College, Middlesex, NJ. 
 He and his wife Elsy, who predeceased Anton in 2010 retired and moved to Cape 
Coral, FL in 1976 where they resided until their deaths.
 Anton is survived by his three children and their families, 14 grandchildlren 
and 18 great-grandchildren.
