 Maxine E. Shuba, 87, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in the comfort of 
her home in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born on Febraury 25, 1924 in Niles, Ohio, 
the daughter of John P. Sullivan and Anna M. Ryan Sullivan.
 Following in her mother's footsteps she graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital 
School of Nursing in 1945. She enjoyed a nursing career that spanned more than 
42 years, Maxine provided neonatal care and later for those patients of 
private medical practice.
 She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, William (Bill) Shuba, 
sister Anna Marie Renna, brothers Kenneth E. and William P. Sullivan and her 
first born daughters, Cynthia Ann Shuba Gentry.
 Maxine's memory will be cherished by two sons, a daughter, son-in-law, sister-
in-law, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
 A Mass of Christian Burail will be celebrated on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 
10:00 AM at Cathholic Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord in Fort Myers,FL. 
Friends will be received by the family following the service in the Parish 
Center.
 A grave side service will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana at Oaklawn 
Memorial Gardens where she will be interred along side her husband.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia  & 
Lymphoma Society.
