 Voncile S. Strickland, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was 
predeceased by her parents, William F. Singletary and Amy Griffin, sister, 
Madge Manderson, brothers Buford Singletary and William F. Singletary, Jr and 
the father of her children, Lorenzo Strickland.
 She was a Florida native born in Holmes County on March 11, 1924 and moved to 
Ft. Myers in 1926. She was a respected and successful business woman.
 She is survived by a son and daughter and their families, five grandchildren 
and ten great-grandchildren.
 Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 
Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Entombment will be private.
