 Robert L. Synder, Sr. 85, passed away March 28, 2012. He was born December 
21, 1926 in Beardstown, IL. He served in the Navy from 1943-47 in the South 
Pacific aboard the Antietem ship. Robert and his wife came to Lee County FL in 
1982 from Portage, IN. 
 Survivors include his wife of 58 years, four daughters, two sons and their 
families, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 
 Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Anderson-
Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services Chapel in Lehigh Acres, FL.A funeral 
service will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will floww in Sarasota National 
Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.Contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
