 Edwin R. Thomas died peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Fort Myers, FL. He 
was born on August 22, 1930 in Mansfield, Ohio to Edwin R. Thomas Sr. and 
Martha Thomas.
 He graduated from Madison High School in 1948 and Ohio Wesleyan University 
with a degree in Economics. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 
from 1952-1954. Edwin and his wife moved back to Mansfield, Ohio in 1954 where 
Ed owned and operated Thomas Music for 45 years. After retiring in 1998, Ed 
and his wife spent their winters in Fort Myers, FL and summers in 
Hendersonville, NC. 
 Edwin is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, several children and their 
families and numberous grandchildren.
